One of the most aromatic, delicate and sweet blends. There hasn’t yet been anyone among my friends who has tasted this tea at my place and have not asked for it during the next visit.
Steeping Instructions
Use 1 heaped Tbsp. of chai per 8 oz. cup.
Pour boiling water over leaves.
Steep 5 mins.
Add 1/3 cup heated milk and 1 tsp. sugar.
Tea Education
Our Herbal Chai starts with a base of non-caffeinated Rooibos, South African Red Bush. When steeped according to our directions, it will result in a creamy, thick, non-watery Chai which is always the goal. Chai is one of the few blends where a heavy hand with the leaf is recommended and will not result in a bitter cup. Use too little leaf and you end up with a thin liquor that lacks the rich, creamy characteristic of a good Chai. Don't be hesitant to steep this for a good 6 - 8 minutes - it will only enhance the taste. And with all this richness, still no caffeine!
