We had a repeat visit today at the Tea Room from a couple who came for Lunch. They ordered a Mushroom Quiche, Chicken Kebab Wrap and a Salmon Sandwich along with Tea. They were looked after by our very personable, well-liked Server, Martin.
At the end of their visit, one of them came up to Martin and asked, "What's your secret?" Martin was a bit perplexed, not knowing how to answer. She went on to say, "You always seem so happy and you bring light to this place". Needless to say, this made our day. Kudos to Martin for making our customers feel at home. And he is doing double-duty at the Horseman's Hollow at Phillipsburg Manor, part of the Historic Sleepy Hollow events through the end of the month. You won't recognize him there as his agreeable self though - there he is a scary Vampirate!
