Setting up for Coffee Fest
We're almost ready for Coffee Fest tomorrow. All the weeks of preparation - what to take, what to pack, how to show, how to steep - are now over and tomorrow we are open to the trade at Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan. We've already made friends with other exhibitors (one who promised us a great cup of coffee in the morning!) and many others who are quite enthralled with our colorful displays and great assortment of teas. It took us weeks of search to find these canisters - something not too big, something easy to open and close, something that would seal properly, something clear so customers could see the product - and finally we found the perfect 8-oz. canister which does do the job rather well we think. We have notepads to give away, updated catalogues, a simple background sheet and plenty of tea to steep and sample tomorrow. We know some of our friends from the industry will be there - Bear Mountain Roasters, perhaps Filter Coffeehouse, Birch Coffee and we're looking forward to making new friends. Coffee Fest, snow or no snow, here we come!
