This is a nice addition to my collection. I reach for it many days in a row. It is mellow but tasty. I re-steep it immediately following the first steep and then a mix them for four cups of tea which is dangerous bc then I sit longer than I should...
Steeping Instructions
Use 1 generous tsp. leaf per 8 oz. cup.
Pour boiling water over leaves.
Steep 4-5 mins.
Milk may be added.

Tea Education
What makes a particular Assam a cut above the rest? It is a combination of two factors - a deep rich taste and tippy leaf. When a tea bush is plucked, typically the top two leaves and a bud are plucked. When there is an abundance of buds in the mix, it is classified as tippy. Tips in dry leaf are not always the same color. Assam and Yunnan tips are reddish gold whereas in Darjeeling it is green. Tippy Assam teas are usually manufactured mid-season. The early crops usually don't generate the same richness in leaf. Our Khongea Premium is one of our best. Also try Meleng, Sessa or Kaziranga.
